One thing that I love about League is there are not many penalties. The game flows. Ball stays on field a lot. It’s very simple to understand. Great vid.

Club rugby is really draining national unions. If Club rugby cannot create their own profitability, there's going to continue to be an international contraction of club competitions. Would like to see Unions remove themselves from Club Comp and let them sink or swim. Super Rugby probably breaks down to 10 teams, Premiership to 8, URC to 12. There's a coming to Jesus, sooner or later for Rugby Union.

Not bc NFL is a bigger or better game, it's not, by any stretch of the imagination, rugby is global, NFL is limited to the US. It's all about the commercial opportunity and the opportunity to make more money for him. NFL players attempting to play rugby would struggle much more than the reverse. Scrums, line outs, no pads, tackle techniques, continuity of open play. It's a new experience for Rees, but it's definitely not a step up in skill & ability, just money. NFL is not more desciplined and structured, just more stop & start. All rugby's moves are structured & require 100% discipline in execution, even in open or so called unstructured play😊

100% agree The DIAA 7s championship was this past weekend. I know coaches in the tournament wanted to watch it and it was the Thursday before and even they didn't know where it would be streamed. It was impossible to find ANYTHING on the tournament except WWU page that was hosting the tournament. Likewise I can go to the NCR page and go to the CRC they had every team, every bracket, live updated scores, knowledge of where i could watch the games month ahead of time. They even had every team and their players that you could check out with a small BIO about the player. NCR Has their league together, and customer friendly to follow. Go check the CRAA page now still nothing on the latest CRAA DIAA tournament. Its no wonder teams are switching over to the NCR every year.

The problem with Fan Focused Law Changes is that at the vast majority of matches played there are no fans. There's the players, the guys on the sidelines waiting to play, some coaches and close personal friends. That's it. A lot of Law changes seem to assume that there are 3 or 4 certified refs, 6 or 7 cameras and a production van out in the parking lot with yet another certified ref to come up with the correct camera angle for the Head Ref to make a decision. As to the changes you talked about, I've already commented on your 1 hour+ video that you've cut this video out of. I'm beginning to think I should just not watch them so I'm not having to repeat myself when you cut it up into the more narrowly focused ones.

Fantastic athlete even by nfl standards but he lacks the years n years of gametime everyone else in the league has had at progressively higher levels from pee wee through high school then college. But sometimes that can open up new possibilities - want someone to throw a lateral or play off the cuff when a move breaks down? That's what rugby is - 1 set piece then everything after that is open. So who knows. It will be interesting. For sure.
